Death of a General Hospital Star After a Battle with Cancer

Khaberni - American actor Reeve Hatton passed away at the age of 73, after a struggle that lasted more than a year with brain cancer, according to what his family reported to TMZ, indicating that he died at his home in Pasadena, California, on Saturday, surrounded by his family members.

Reeve Hatton was a well-known face in American television drama, notable for his role as Dr. Ron Welsh in the series "Doogie Howser, M.D." which aired between 1989 and 1993, and in the series General Hospital, where he appeared alongside Neil Patrick Harris, portraying the close friend of the teenage doctor protagonist.

He also stood out in the series JAG, where he played the character of Lieutenant Alan Mattoni in the U.S. Navy over several seasons from the third to the sixth. His career also extended to other drama works including The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital, where he delivered a variety of roles in both works. 

Hatton's fame was not limited to television drama, as he also appeared in a famous series of commercials in the nineties for KFC, which made him widely remembered in the American public's memory.

In the field of voice acting, he participated in a number of notable cinematic and animated works, among them Shrek, The Princess and the Frog, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

His colleagues in the art community mourned him with moving words, with voice actor Steve Apostolina describing him as an "exceptional and inspiring human," referring to his significant human and artistic impact, and affirming that cancer had snatched away a unique talent that will not be repeated.
