A war in 3 stages Trump considers occupying the Iranian Kharg Island

Khaberni - An American official stated that President Donald Trump and his team are discussing the seizure of the strategic Iranian Kharg Island in light of the difficulties in extending the ceasefire agreement with Iran.

The official, according to the American website "Axios", said: "Trump and his team are now discussing what the renewed military campaign would look like, including whether an attempt will be made to seize the strategic Kharg Island."
He added: "Trump wants to end the war now, on his terms. But there is only one day left before the ceasefire expires, and Iran still controls the Strait of Hormuz, and the parties have not yet been able to set a date for the meeting. Therefore, the war may be about to expand significantly."
According to the site, the Trump team believes that Iran is under severe economic pressure due to the blockade.
Trump said that the bombing campaign that began on February 28 will end within 6 weeks, and he has been keen to adhere to this deadline. However, the official said it may be "just the first phase".
He added: "We are now in the second phase. Whether the third phase will be more bombing or a peace agreement, it is up to the Iranians."
