Iranian military official Tehran ready to decisively respond to any new hostile act

Khaberni - The semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported on Tuesday, citing a high-ranking Iranian military commander, that the Iranian Armed Forces are prepared to deliver an "immediate and decisive response" to any new hostile act from their adversaries.

The ceasefire, which lasted for two weeks between Iran and the United States, is scheduled to end on Wednesday.

The two countries accuse each other of violating the ceasefire, both tightening the noose on navigation movements in the Strait of Hormuz, a vital waterway for global oil trade.

Commander of the Iranian Armed Forces Unified Command, Ali Abdullahi, stated that Tehran holds the upper hand in the military field, including the management of the Strait of Hormuz, and will not allow President Donald "to create false narratives about the situation on the ground".
