Iran be Damned Mishari Alafasy Sparks Trends with a Political Anthem

Khaberni - Sheikh Mishari Rashed Alafasy, a Kuwaiti reciter and chanter, released a new musical work titled "Iran be Damned", through his official platforms on social media and his YouTube channel.

The work immediately sparked interactions and widespread controversy due to its direct political nature, as it included inspiring lyrics condemning Iranian policies and the recent attacks targeting the Arab Gulf states, emphasizing the unity of the Gulf front and the strength of Arab armies in facing any regional threats.

In this work, Alafasy relied on an artistic team that included poet Thamer Shabib, composer Abdul Salam Mohammed, and arranger Barak Al-Mutawa, while Alafasy himself took on the sound engineering tasks.

The lyrics of the song reinforce the concept of Gulf chivalry and pride in the identity of "People of Monotheism", along with sharp criticisms of the region's opponents and their supporters; making the song top trend lists in record time and turning into a rich topic for discussion among digital space users.

Visually, the music video featured cinematic scenes showing bombings and air defense interceptions, followed by scenes showcasing the military strength of Gulf Cooperation Council states through maneuvers and field training, with a prominent display of the flags of Gulf countries and pictures of leaders and rulers.
