Khaberni - The UAE State Security announced the dismantling of a terrorist organization and the arrest of its members - due to their involvement in covert activities aimed at undermining national unity and destabilizing stability through plans to carry out systematic terrorist and sabotage acts on the state's territory. Investigations with the members of the organization revealed its affiliation with "Wilayat al-Faqih" in Iran.
The investigations also showed that the organization's members adopted extremist terrorist ideologies and ideas that threaten internal security, as they conducted recruitment operations through secret meetings, according to a coordinated plan with external entities to access sensitive locations.
According to monitoring and subsequent investigations, members of the organization held secret meetings inside and outside the country with terrorist elements and suspicious organizations, aiming to transfer misleading ideas to Emirati youth and recruit them to serve foreign loyalties to incite against the state's foreign policy and internal actions, and attempt to portray the state negatively, in addition to collecting funds unofficially and transferring them to suspicious external entities.
The charges against the members of the organization include establishing and managing a secret organization on the state's arena, signing oaths and foreign loyalties, and harming national unity and community peace.
The State Security emphasized its ongoing firm stance against any threats to public security, urging citizens and residents to report any suspicious activities through official channels, thereby enhancing the security and stability system.
