Khaberni - The cabinet decided in its session held today, Sunday, chaired by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, to appoint Mustafa Al-Hamarneh as the president of the Jordanian Academy for Government Management, and to transfer Siham Al-Khawaldeh from the position of General Director of the Public Administration Institute to hold the position of Secretary-General of the Academy.
The cabinet also decided to appoint members to the board of trustees of the Jordanian Academy for Government Management, including: Nasreen Barakat, Saad Nabil Al-Mashar, Abla Mohammad Omawi, the President of the German Jordanian University, the President of the Digital Skills Association, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Association of Information Technology and Communications Companies.
The board of trustees is chaired by the Prime Minister according to the academy's regulations issued last week, with the minister concerned with the public sector holding the position of Vice President, in addition to the membership of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, and the membership of six members from academic institutions or the private sector with expertise and specialization, who were appointed by the cabinet as mentioned above.
