Khaberni - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, decided to delete the phrase "the political teenager" from the minutes of the House of Representatives session, which MP Saleh Al-Armouti had launched against one of the ministers in Jafar Hassan's government during the session last Thursday.
The decision was made retroactively, where Al-Qadi asked the council members to vote on deleting the phrase, and the deputies agreed to do so.
Al-Armouti had described one of the ministers as "the adolescent minister", on the background of accusations the minister had made against professional unions influencing legislation, including a bill amending the Social Security Law.
In a subsequent session, Al-Armouti affirmed his rejection of such accusations against the unions, emphasizing the importance of respecting state institutions, and pointing out the pride Jordanians have in their national symbols and various institutions.
