Saudi Interior Ministry Threatens Intruders into Mecca During Hajj with Severe Penalties

Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Interior has warned against performing the Hajj without the specific visa for it, emphasizing that all visit visas do not entitle the holder to perform this duty.

The ministry explained in a post this Saturday that a financial fine of up to 20,000 riyals will be applied to those who hold any type of visit visa and attempt to enter or stay in Mecca and the sacred sites from the first day of the month of Dhu Al-Qi'dah until the end of the 14th day of Dhu Al-Hijjah.

The ministry also mentioned that it will deport those sneaking into Hajj from residents and those who stay behind to their countries and ban them from entering the Kingdom for 10 years.

The Ministry of Interior urges everyone to adhere to the regulations for this year's Hajj season 1447 AH and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the security and safety of the guests of the Merciful, confirming that violating these instructions exposes violators to statutory penalties.
