Khaberni - The Ministry of Social Development issued today, Saturday, its report of accomplishments for last March, highlighting the most notable services it provided.
The report revealed that the Directorate of Begging Combat initiated 583 anti-begging campaigns, during which 982 beggars were apprehended.
The ministry stated in a press release from the Directorate of Communication and Media, today, Saturday, that it has processed 3620 studies for the purpose of issuing health insurance cards, and 170 transactions for exemption from treatment expenses, while conducting 141 transactions for the service of settling heirs' rights, and 1156 transactions related to the exemption from work permits.
According to the report, 30 children were placed in childcare homes, and 39 children left, while the number of children handed over to alternative families reached 8, in addition to licensing 4 new nurseries.
The report stated that the number of women and children who benefited from the services of the social service offices - Family and Juveniles Protection Administration was 186 cases, while the number of juveniles benefiting from the services of the Juvenile Education and Rehabilitation Homes affiliated with the ministry was 188 juveniles, with 84 juveniles benefiting from vocational rehabilitation programs. Regarding the number of working children who have received psychological and social services and interventions according to the case management methodology, there were 23 children, and the number of beneficiaries from the social service offices in the rehabilitation and reform centers reached 889 beneficiaries.
In the associations sector, the report showed that the number of temporary bodies that completed their work reached 5 temporary bodies, and the number of ongoing temporary bodies 7 bodies, and the number of dissolution committees that completed their work 7 committees, and the number of associations that were issued warnings two associations.
Regarding the general registry of associations, the cumulative number of registered and existing associations under the enforceable Associations Law reached 6008 associations, with 18 new associations registered, while the number of requests for amendment of the statutes of associations was 135 associations, and the number of dissolved associations was 22 associations.
According to the report data for the National Aid Fund’s activities, the total number of families benefiting from the monthly financial aid program reached 41925 families, and from the unified cash support program 206533 families were allocated, and the number of families benefiting from the training program was 70 families while the response rate to calls received by the fund was (100%).
