Khaberni - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh confirmed on Saturday that the United States "cannot impose its will" and blockade the strategic Strait of Hormuz, following the announcement by the Iranian armed forces that they had re-closed the vital waterway.
Zadeh stated to journalists on the sidelines of an annual diplomatic forum in Antalya, southern Turkey, "Americans cannot impose their will to blockade Iran, while Iran, with good intention, tries to facilitate safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz."
Zadeh denied setting a date for the next round of negotiations with Washington.
The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister mentioned that President Donald Trump "posts frequently and speaks a lot."
