Unveiling a spy network in the Israeli Air Force working for Iran

Khaberni  - Hebrew reports have unveiled a serious security issue under investigation by the Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the police, related to a spy network within the Israeli Air Force working for the benefit of Iran.

According to the report, two conscripted soldiers were arrested about a month ago on suspicion of spying for Iranian entities during their military service over an extended period of time.

Investigations indicate that the suspects were recruited by Iranian intelligence agencies and exploited their positions to transfer information related to military systems, locations, and high-ranking figures.

According to preliminary data, it is believed that this is not an isolated incident but rather a network that operated in a coordinated manner.

According to Hebrew reports, the investigation initially led to the arrest of other soldiers as well, some from sensitive units including air defense systems, before their files were transferred to the military police for investigation.

Earlier this month, a Hebrew report stated that the Israeli authorities arrested four regular soldiers from combat units on suspicion that they worked together as a group and spied for Iran, even during the war period.

Hebrew channel "i24" reported that the four Israeli soldiers are being investigated in cooperation between the General Security Service (Shin Bet) and the police.

According to the channel, citing informed sources at the time, “this case reflects a clear trend of attempts to infiltrate the security system and reach civilians, and indicates a sharp increase in spying threats from Iran.”
