Khaberni - The Israeli Army radio reported from military officials that 55 Lebanese villages are now under army control, and residents are not allowed to return at this stage.
The officials added that the army intends to implement what they described as the "Gaza Strip Yellow Line model" in Lebanon as well, referring to special arrangements in border areas.
Information indicated that Israeli forces carried out two explosions in the towns of Deir Sirian and Taybeh, south of Lebanon, near the border, as part of their ongoing military operations in the area.
These developments come amidst a fragile truce and a temporary ceasefire, amid warnings of the consequences of any breaches in the field on the path to de-escalation.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that a "tight security zone" has been established along the northern border, extending from Lebanon through the Golan to Yarmouk, aimed at preventing any threats, also insisting that operations have not yet concluded, and that there are additional plans in Lebanon.
On his part, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz emphasized that the disarmament of Hezbollah south of the Litani River will be carried out either through a political route or via military operations after the end of the temporary ceasefire.
