Khaberni - American President Donald Trump confirmed that he would intervene to prevent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from launching any attacks on Lebanon, saying: "I will ban him from bombing Lebanon".
When asked about how he would implement that, Trump explained in a speech in Arizona: "I will tell him you can't do that".
In a related context, Trump added: "We will make Lebanon great again, the time has really come.. The world has forgotten them, and they are good people", in a reference to a supportive stance for Lebanon amidst recent developments.
Earlier, Trump announced that the United States "prohibits Tel Aviv" from conducting any bombing operations within Lebanese territory, adding: "Enough means enough", using sharp and surprising language against Israel.
Trump further explained that Washington will deal separately with the Lebanese file, including matters related to the status of Hezbollah.
The website "Axios" reported that the American President's statements caused a state of confusion within the Israeli government, where Tel Aviv sought official clarifications from the White House on the content of this stance. According to sources, the post came as a surprise to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his advisors.
