Khaberni - The developments in the drug case involving several celebrities from the artistic scene in Turkey continue, following the issuance of official reports about the results of the laboratory analyses of blood and hair samples belonging to the suspects.
According to local media reports, the results of the tests issued by the Forensic Medicine Institute revealed the presence of narcotic substances, including hashish and cocaine, in the samples of actor Burak Deniz, Enis Guler, and actress Sera Perinç. Meanwhile, the sound engineer Utku Onsal's sample was found to contain hashish, while the tests of singer Simge Sağın revealed the presence of an active pharmaceutical ingredient.
The current data confirm that the investigations are still ongoing, with no final judicial ruling issued yet, while continuing to follow the results of the analyses which showed positive indicators for some names, including Burak Deniz.
In the context of legal proceedings, the public prosecutor had initiated investigations with several well-known individuals, against the background of accusations related to the purchase, possession, and use of narcotic or stimulant substances, in addition to suspicions related to providing these substances.
On April 9, Istanbul witnessed a large-scale security campaign carried out by specialized gendarmerie drug enforcement teams, which resulted in the detention of several suspects, including prominent names from the artistic and content production milieu, in one of the cases that received extensive public attention in Turkey during the recent period.
