Turkey Denies Erdogans Threat to Invade Israel

Khaberni - Turkish authorities have denied the allegations that talked about "President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatening to invade Israel".

The communication department in the Turkish presidency (anti-misinformation center) affirmed that these claims are completely baseless, noting that some media outlets and social media platforms have promoted misleading information aimed at destabilizing the regional stability.

The authorities clarified in an official statement that Turkey, with its long-standing international traditions, continues to play a leading role in stopping bloodshed, protecting civilians, and achieving lasting peace, especially in its region.

The statement added: "We follow a de-escalation approach, not escalation, and under the leadership of our president, Turkey is committed to international justice laws and diplomacy, and favors the peaceful, secure, and prosperous coexistence of the peoples of the region, without any discrimination".

The Turkish authorities also revealed that a previous speech by President Erdogan dating back to 2024 was distorted and recirculated as if it was new by British and Israeli media, urging not to be drawn into deceptive contents that distort Turkey’s struggle and its humanitarian stance.
