Khaberni - In a scene reflecting the harsh reality of the Palestinian existence, the occupation army announced the arrest of dozens of Palestinian workers from the West Bank, after they were found hiding inside a garbage truck at one of the barriers, as they sought to reach the interior in search of livelihood.
According to Israeli media reports, some of these workers were in severe exhaustion, with some of them found unconscious due to the difficult conditions inside the container.
Hebrew news sites reported, quoting the relevant authorities, that more than 60 workers were detained and transported to receive treatment. This incident reflects the scale of suffering endured by thousands of workers in securing a livelihood where Israel has confined them since October 2023 in their homes amidst the absence of Palestinian official bodies and even labor unions from performing their role and saving about 300,000 workers who were crucial to the economic backbone and leverage of the West Bank.
