Khaberni - Security forces arrested a man in his twenties after he attempted to exchange a forged foreign driving license for a Jordanian one.
As detailed by journalist Ghazi Mirayat in the Al-Rai daily, the Preventive Security personnel in the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Administration arrested the young man while he was at the administrative office to replace a driving license issued in his name from a foreign country with a Jordanian one.
A security source said that investigations revealed that the license in his possession was forged, as he confessed to obtaining it from abroad through one of his acquaintances living there, in exchange for 200 dinars, without undergoing the theoretical and practical exams. He added that the license was sent to him inside Jordan via a delivery company.
