Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump stated today, Monday, that Iran is very eager to make a deal, and he will not agree to any deal that allows Tehran to possess a nuclear weapon.
Trump added in a post on the platform "Truth Social" that 34 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz yesterday, Sunday, according to what Reuters reported. He explained that the talks related to nuclear issues have reached a dead end, indicating the start of "imposing control" on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
He mentioned that Iran "made contact this morning" with the Americans, and that the Iranians "are very eager to make a deal". He declared to reporters at the White House "Iran will not possess a nuclear weapon.. We cannot allow any country to blackmail or exploit the world."
The U.S. military began on Monday to enforce a ban on navigation to Iranian ports in the Gulf, following the collapse of peace talks in Pakistan and Washington blaming Iran for refusing to abandon its nuclear ambitions.
The blockade, according to Washington, started at 14:00 GMT this Monday, and will affect all ships heading to Iranian ports or sailing from them.
