Khaberni - Within the approach of Arab Amman University aimed at establishing the concept of a single family and enhancing active communication channels with students, the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university organized a dialogue meeting that brought together students of the faculty together with Professor Dr. Rana Abu Haweij Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and with the participation of members of both the teaching and administrative staff, reflecting the college's commitment to building sustainable and interactive communication bridges with its students.
During the meeting, Dr. Abu Haweij emphasized the Faculty of Pharmacy at Arab Amman University's dedication to fostering an academic environment based on the spirit of one family, reinforcing the open-door policy, ensuring effective communication with students. She pointed out that various student suggestions and comments are carefully attended to and methodically studied, stemming from a firm belief in the importance of true partnership in advancing the educational process and improving the university environment. Dr. Abu Haweij Dr. Abu Haweij commended the vital role played by both the teaching and administrative staff in supporting the college's journey and enhancing the culture of cooperation and belonging, appreciating their efforts in accommodating the bachelor's and master's programs, alongside their substantial contributions to the college's obtaining American accreditation for pharmacy education for the first and second time, showcasing the academic and institutional excellence achieved by the college. She also highlighted the role of student clubs and the programs and activities they carry out throughout the year, affirming their effective contribution to creating an educational environment that is motivating and supportive of honing the students' personalities and skills, and she stressed the importance of consulting the academic advisor before the registration process, contributing to proper selection of academic subjects and ensuring the academic journey progresses on a well-considered and organized basis.
In her turn, Dr. Mai Al-Hawamdeh, head of the Training Committee, at the Faculty of Pharmacy reviewed the field training system adopted by the faculty, discussing its key requirements and stages, along with the conditions for joining the Pharmacists' Syndicate, which enhances the efficiency of preparing students and supports their professional readiness to enter the job market after graduation.
The meeting saw active interaction from the students through their proposals and comments, where Dr. Abu Haweij stressed that all inputs are seriously considered and studied within an institutional framework aiming for continuous improvement and efficiently meeting the needs of students, and the meeting concluded with expressing gratitude and appreciation to all participants, affirming the importance of collaborative dialogue in supporting the academic process and establishing an integrated educational environment based on interaction and continuous development.
