Khaberni - Major Ashraf Al-Amareen from the Drug Enforcement Administration mourns his colleagues Murad, Khaldoun, and Subhi, who were martyred while performing their sacred duty less than a month ago.
The following is what Major Al-Amareen wrote:
Martyrs of the Drug Enforcement Administration
((A timeless goal, a light that never fades))
Every time I tried to write about them, I held back, not out of forgetfulness or inability to express, but because words stood powerless before the enormity of the loss, for what they provided is greater than can be hastily summarized in words.
Murad, Khaldoun, and Subhi... men who truly upheld their covenant with God, they were and still are a symbol of dedication and sacrifice, carried the trust with all honor and valor, and stood against a scourge threatening society, moving forward, not backward, with their lives in their hands, defending the security of the nation and the safety of its people.
Their names were no coincidence; each of them had a share of their name, as if their names summarized their journey and the nobility of their contributions:
((Murad)) was the noble goal they strived to achieve, protecting the most precious security of Jordan.
((Khaldoun)) became the immortality that does not fade, as their names were etched in the pages of glory and heroism.
((Subhi)) shone like a new dawn, carrying hope along with his comrades despite the pain and suffering.
They gathered as comrades in the field, and in martyrdom, they became one meaning: ((A timeless goal… and a light that never fades))
They passed away, but their impact remains, and their story will continue to live in the hearts of their families, colleagues, and those who loved them.
They will remain a story of honor to be told, and a proof that in this nation, there are men who respond to duty, step forward for sacrifice, and look only towards the nation when called.
May God have mercy on them, grant them paradise, and grant us and their families patience and consolation.
Major Ashraf Al-Amareen
