In a crucial moment of the modernization process, the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, enhanced the security scene with a more comprehensive vision, by integrating the Gendarmerie and Civil Defense under the umbrella of the Directorate of Public Security. This transformation not only saved time and effort but also increased the state's readiness to face crises and solidified the concept of comprehensive security, where the hand of the law meets the hand of rescue, and prevention integrates with response, in a manner that reflects the maturity of the Jordanian experience in managing its security.
In parallel, the future's features are enhanced by the directives of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, who leads modernization initiatives and places digital transformation at the heart of institutional work. Security today is not limited to the field but extends to the digital space, where speed, accuracy, and service efficiency are standards that now define the next phase.
Between yesterday and today, the most important constant remains the public security officer... the one whose essence has not changed, despite everything around him changing. He is the same one who stands in the cold and heat, day and night, silently carrying his responsibility, and performing his duty with devotion, expecting nothing but to keep the homeland well.
