250 engineers take the legal oath in front of the Jordan Engineers Association Dean

Khaberni - Today, 250 engineers performed the legal oath at the Professional Associations Complex in Amman, in front of the Dean of Jordanian Engineers, Engineer Abdullah Asim Ghosheh, accompanied by Engineer Saleh Al-Ghawiri, Engineer Mohammed Al-Ababneh, and Engineer Mohammed Al-Habashneh, as well as the president and members of the Young Engineers Committee.

The Dean of Engineers extended congratulations to the new engineers on the occasion of their graduation and their joining the umbrella of engineering and consulting work in Jordan, noting that the number of members in the association has reached nearly 205 thousand engineers.

He pointed out that taking the oath is a true transition from the phase of learning to the phase of commitment, from the realm of dreams to the field of action, and from the identity of a student to the identity of an engineer who bears the responsibility of knowledge and the duty of the nation, clarifying that the oath is a covenant for the engineers to be trustworthy in knowledge, sincere in work, vigilant in public safety, defenders of quality, and believers that every project they undertake is part of people's lives.

He added that engineers are the active foundation in shaping the future at a time when transformations are accelerating in an unprecedented manner, where technical challenges intersect with economic and environmental crises, and where the needs for development intertwine with the necessities for sustainability.

He praised the role played by the Engineers Association, not merely as a regulatory framework, but as the home of engineers and their partner in their professional journey, offering training programs, qualification, defending their rights, and opening new horizons for them, to be worthy of this profession, and to elevate its name and maintain its stature.

On his part, the president of the Young Engineers Committee, Engineer Ahmad Al-Turrah, said that the association, through the committee, always stands with the engineers and supports them, through training programs, workshops, and initiatives that aim to enhance their capabilities and open new doors for them, whether in innovation and entrepreneurship, or in finding alternative paths and new specialized fields that keep pace with global development.

He mentioned that engineering is not just equations and drawings, but it is a mission of building and reconstruction, and it is a means to provide solutions for the society, and a field to prove that Jordanian youth are capable of being in the front lines wherever they are.

At the end of the ceremony, presented by Engineer Asid Rababah, the new engineers repeated the legal oath led by Engineer Mohammed Al-Habashneh from the association's council, and they received membership cards and certificates.
