Khaberni - Uruguayan Luis Suárez, a player for Inter Miami in American football, has opened the door for a return to his national team to participate in the 2026 World Cup.
Suárez said in statements published on the website "Foot Mercato": "If they need me, I will never refuse to play for the national team."
He added, "Since retiring from international play, the enthusiasm and passion have decreased a bit. The passion and dreams are still there, but things are not as they used to be."
These statements came after a decisive participation with Inter Miami last week where Suárez once again proved his ability to change the course of games by scoring a goal that gave his team a 2-2 draw against Austin last Sunday, at the opening of their new stadium, and he even thought he had snatched the win in the last minutes, before his goal was disallowed.
