19000 travelers cross AlKaramah crossing in a week and 51 wanted individuals detained

Khaberni - More than 19,000 Palestinians and visitors crossed the Al-Karamah crossing last week, during which the police detained 51 individuals wanted by the judiciary.

The number of departures amounted to 9,393 individuals, compared to 10,365 arrivals, while the movement of travelers was described as moderate.

The Palestinian police clarified that, during the same period, they arrested 51 wanted individuals and those banned from travel, either while they were attempting to leave through the crossing or upon their arrival to the Palestinian territories, who are wanted in cases pending before the courts and the public prosecutor's office.

The security and civil agencies in the General Administration for Borders and Crossings provided facilitations and services to citizens, including coordination for the travel of 7 medical cases between both sides of the crossing using Palestinian ambulances.
