According to legal documents, the parties amended the property settlement agreement to include the complete transfer of ownership, a step that reflects the end of all financial ties between them following their separation. The couple had purchased the mansion in 2023 for about 60 million dollars, with additional amounts spent on its development.
The property faces challenges in selling, having failed to attract buyers despite being listed at a high price, which led to a subsequent reduction in its value without concrete results, remaining a real estate burden to date, while Lopez temporarily lives in it.
Reports suggest that this decision may be driven by Affleck's strong financial situation, following huge investment deals, as well as his desire to definitively end all shared obligations with his ex-wife.
It is mentioned that the couple officially ended their marriage after about two years, following the filing of the divorce in 2024, before amicably settling the procedures early in 2025, without any mutual financial obligations.
