Israel Announces Details of One of Its Broadest Bloody Strikes in Lebanon

Khaberni - The Israeli military announced in a statement that the bloody and extensive airstrikes carried out on Wednesday in Beirut, the Beqaa, and south Lebanon are considered among the largest strikes since the start of Operation "Lion's Roar".
It claimed that the air raids targeted about 100 Hezbollah military sites within one minute, but Lebanese sources and officials confirmed that the casualties were civilians.

The statement clarified that the targets included main headquarters, military buildings, and weapon storages, as part of what the army described as a direct targeting of the leadership and operational infrastructure of the party in several Lebanese regions.

Volker Türk, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, said in a statement that "the extent of killing and destruction in Lebanon today (Wednesday) is horrifying". He added, "Such a massacre, which occurred hours after a ceasefire agreement with Iran, is unbelievable".

The Israeli military described the operation as a "profound strike" on the party's military and leadership capabilities, referring to the scale of the targeting and its broad geographic and temporal scope, which was carried out within a relatively short period according to the military statement.
