Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday the execution of the death penalty (execution) against citizens for committing terrorist crimes.
The ministry said that both Mostafa bin Ali bin Saleh Al-Sbaity and Ali bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Sbaity, Saudi nationals, committed terrorist crimes that included joining a foreign terrorist organization, participating in manufacturing explosives, possessing weapons, murdering security personnel, attacking them, shooting at security headquarters, harboring security fugitives involved in murder, targeting and kidnapping citizens, assassinating them, and hiding their bodies.
The ministry added in its statement: The security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned individuals, and the investigation with them led to their indictment for committing those crimes, and upon referral to the competent court, a verdict was issued against them proving what was attributed to them and their execution punitively, and the verdict became final after being appealed and then upheld by the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided legally.
The punitive death sentence was executed against the convicts on Thursday 21 / 10 / 1447 AH corresponding to 09 / 04 / 2026, in the Eastern Region.
