Gargash The Era of Compliments is Over

Khaberni - Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the President of the UAE, said, "the era of compliments has ended, and disclosure has become a necessary imperative in the face of Iran's brutal aggression against the Gulf states."
Gargash stated on the "X" platform today, Thursday: "Observers should not be surprised by the frankness of the UAE's stance in confronting the Iranian aggression on the Arab Gulf states, including the Foreign Ministry's statement on the ceasefire, which received popular appreciation. This clarity is necessary after decisive and premeditated aggression."

He added: "The era of compliments has ended, disclosure has become necessary, and our collective stance must be firm and clear towards the aspects of the coming stage, in a way that enhances stability and security in the region."
Earlier, Gargash in his first official response to US President Donald Trump's announcement of a temporary truce with Iran, said: "The UAE triumphed in a war we sincerely sought to avoid, and we prevailed with a legendary national defense that protected sovereignty, dignity, and safeguarded achievements against brutal aggression."

He also said: "Today we move towards managing a complex regional scene with greater credit, more accurate knowledge, and a firmer ability to influence and shape the future."
Yesterday, Wednesday, the United States and Iran announced a two-week truce mediated by Pakistan, as a precursor to reaching a final agreement to end the war initiated by Washington and Tel Aviv against Tehran on February 28 of this year, which caused thousands of deaths and injuries.

In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose country is participating in the war, supported Trump's decision, but denied that the ceasefire includes Lebanon, despite Pakistan's confirmation that the agreement includes an immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon.
