Khaberni - The Lebanese Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, announced that tomorrow, Thursday, will be a national day of mourning for the martyrs and wounded of the Israeli attacks that targeted hundreds of defenseless civilians.
Salam also announced, in a statement today, Wednesday, the closure of public administrations, institutions, and municipalities tomorrow, the lowering of flags on them, and the adjustment of regular broadcasting schedules on radio and television stations to reflect this national tragedy.
He said: "We extend our deepest condolences to the Lebanese people and especially to the families of the martyrs, and we wish a speedy recovery to the wounded. We continue to communicate with Arab siblings and international officials to mobilize all of Lebanon’s political and diplomatic energies to stop the Israeli killing machine".
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, that the number of martyrs due to the Israeli raids that targeted various areas in Lebanon has risen to 254, while the number of wounded exceeded 1156.
Today, the Israeli warplanes launched an unprecedented series of violent raids across different areas of Lebanon, coinciding with the Israeli army's announcement of carrying out the major strike on Lebanon since the war began.
