Alwan one of the top scorers in World Cup qualifiers

Khaberni - Ali Alwan, a star of the national football team, emerged among the list of best scorers in the World Cup qualifiers, as announced by FIFA, reflecting the progress of Jordanian football and its rising presence on the international scene.
Alwan ranked sixth globally with a score of 9 goals, surpassing many of the top stars of the game, and confirming his status as one of the prominent Arab strikers during the current qualifiers, thanks to his crucial contributions to the national team.
Norwegian star Erling Haaland topped the list with 16 goals, followed by Qatari Moaz Ali with 12 goals, then Algerian Mohamed Amoura with 10 goals, equal with both South Korean Son Heung-min and Iranian Mehdi Taremi, while Iraqi Ayman Hussein and Egyptian Mohamed Salah followed in the next ranks with a score of 9 goals each, amid a notable closeness in the number of goals among the players.
Alwan reaching the sixth place in this global list is a notable achievement, especially considering the competition with stars playing in the strongest European leagues, reflecting the great technical value he brings to the field and his ability to decide international matches.
