Khaberni - The Court of Cassation announced today, Wednesday, it does not have jurisdiction to consider the appeal regarding the validity of Hamza Tubasi's representation for the Workers' Party seat in the general list in the twentieth House of Representatives.
The Court of Cassation decided to dismiss the case filed by the party on procedural grounds due to lack of jurisdiction, stating in its decision that this case falls under the jurisdiction of the Administrative Court.
The party has decided to file a lawsuit before the Administrative Court to annul the decision of the Independent Election Commission to appoint Hamza Hani Mohammed Khalil as a replacement for the expelled deputy Mohammed Al-Jarrah for the Workers' Party seat in Parliament.
It is worth mentioning that deputy Hamza Tubasi had previously filed a case before the Administrative Court to annul the decision of the Workers' Party to expel him, and it is still under consideration, with a verdict expected within weeks.
