Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that the relevant authorities in the Criminal Investigation Department dealt with a circulating video showing one person assaulting another inside a vehicle trunk, where the video was tracked, the identities of the two individuals shown were determined, and they were arrested.
He added that the investigations revealed that the scene was staged, and the two individuals had filmed it and posted it on social media sites to gain views and increase followers. Another video documenting the behind-the-scenes of the recording was also seized.
He mentioned that the two individuals would be referred to the public prosecutor to take the necessary legal actions against them.
