Khaberni - The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the specialized diving teams from the Civil Defense Directorates of Al-Karak and Madaba handled a drowning accident involving two brothers, aged (15) and (20), inside one of the agricultural ponds in the Mujib area.
The media spokesperson added that the diving teams worked to retrieve them and evacuate them to Princess Salma Government Hospital, and an investigation into the incident has been opened.
The Public Security Directorate renews its warnings not to approach the streams, agricultural ponds, or water accumulations formed by rainwater so as to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
