Gargash UAE triumphed in a war it sincerely sought to avoid

Khaberni - Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the president of the UAE, wrote that his country triumphed in a war it sincerely sought to avoid, pointing out that the victory was achieved through an epic national defense.
He added that this victory protected sovereignty and dignity and safeguarded achievements against brutal aggression.

Gargash stated in a post on "X" today: "Today, we are heading to manage a complex regional scene with greater assets, sharper knowledge, and a stronger ability to influence and shape the future," confirming that the strength, firmness, and stability of the UAE have enhanced its renaissance model.

Gargash affirmed that the UAE emerged from this difficult phase with new gains that enhance its ability to deal with increasing regional challenges, emphasizing that the state now possesses a greater reserve of experience and knowledge in managing complicated regional issues.

He mentioned that the heroic national defense presented by the UAE during this period did not only protect national sovereignty and dignity, but also successfully preserved the civilizational and developmental achievements that have been accomplished over decades, in the face of what he described as "brutal" aggression.

Gargash's statements came after Iran announced in the early hours of Wednesday, that the United States had "in principle" accepted a 10-point Iranian proposal to end the war, just hours before the deadline set by U.S. President Donald Trump to bomb Iranian infrastructure.
