The problem in the quality of Faisaly players
الكاتب: مجدي محمد محيلان

My initial conviction is that the professional league without Faisaly's competition is bland, colorless, and odorless.
Since Faisaly is a fundamental cornerstone in Jordanian football for about a century, it deserves that we write and believe what we think is in its interest, which is part of the broader interest of Jordanian football.
I say: there are two main reasons, in my opinion, that have been hindering Faisaly's progress and stability for about five years.
The first and most important reason is purely technical; the existing names (which we respect), despite their abundance, are of similar levels except for the few exceptions ordained by God. For example, what is the benefit of having five players of the same level in the same position?
While other positions in the team lack players! Yes. Otherwise, who is the (main) player taking the striker's position at Faisaly? If you mention Sina or Sada, know that it's not their primary position, but necessity imposed itself on the player and the coach due to the absence of a (genuine) player for the heart of the attack, and so on...
The second reason, which is no less important than the first, is: "spirit"! Here I stand to compare, having followed the league for fifty-one years gone by when it was called the first division. Has the spirit of the team changed from before? Yes, definitely yes. A Faisaly player fully understood what it meant to play for the blues—how could he not when he grew up within its walls, drank its water, and perhaps even took the playing jersey from his father? Therefore, I felt, while watching any match for Faisaly, that heat among all players (most of them club sons) and how they defended their team's reputation like a soldier defends his homeland. Defending the emblem of Faisaly especially, isn't just about gathering a number of players and throwing them into the field, and then expecting great results, but by teaching everyone who wears the (sky blue) jersey that Faisaly is different and that victories aren't achieved by money alone.
To be continued...
