Lebanese Army to the People of the South Delay Your Return

Khaberni - The Lebanese army command has invited citizens to delay returning to the southern villages and towns, and to avoid approaching the areas infiltrated by Israeli forces, in light of regional developments.
The army confirmed that this call aims to ensure the safety of citizens, especially since they may expose their lives to danger due to ongoing Israeli assaults, despite reports of a truce.

The army also urged locals to comply with the directives of the military units deployed, and to be cautious of unexploded ordnance and suspicious objects from the remnants of the Israeli aggression, and to report any findings to the nearest army center or other security forces.
Despite the announcement by the Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif that, based on the agreement between Iran and Washington, an immediate ceasefire is in effect across Iran, Lebanon, and others, Israeli attacks continued in the early dawn hours, reinforcing statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the existing agreement does not include Lebanon.

However, the displaced did not wait for an official statement to cease fire, and convoys of returnees headed to the south, despite the continued Israeli bombing.

The official Lebanese stance is expected to become clear during the daylight hours.
