Khaberni - "Reuters" reported on Tuesday from a Pakistani security official that Islamabad will side with Saudi Arabia under the defense treaty in case of escalating conflict in the Middle East.
Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan condemned "the missile and drone attacks that Iran launched on energy facilities in the eastern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia", according to a statement from the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.
Pakistan considered that "these attacks represent a serious violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom and the integrity of its territory, and a serious escalation that undermines peace and stability in the region".
Pakistan reaffirmed "its steadfast support for the security of the Kingdom".
