In a bygone era (the beautiful time), the financial future standard and social standard were limited to guiding the youth towards education and obtaining higher degrees, to ensure a comfortable living and a respectable life. Sports, especially football, were not seen as securing a future or building a marital nest.
But now, Glory be to the One who changes circumstances, football as a (profession) has become a future-building and respectable living guarantee, even providing a prestigious social status. How not when we see many of our soccer talents active in foreign stadiums (Europe, Africa, Asia) through advanced clubs, some of which compete for their country's league championship.
The testimony: And after God honored us by our team (the brave ones) reaching the finals of the upcoming World Cup, and the brilliance of the Hussein / Irbid team in the Asian championship, and its rise to advanced rounds, this confirms – thanks be to God - that our country is rich with promising soccer talents, which can be invested like many countries known only through their players.
Why shouldn't there be specialized governmental entities, independent (from the clubs and the soccer federation), fostering young football talents (at their inception), preparing them physically and technically and honing their talents... until they grow strong, at which point they can be introduced to the local and international player market, benefiting both the nation and themselves financially, not to mention the important soccer reputation, which attracts attention and thus increases demand and spreads benefits.
In conclusion, I believe that even a local football player, active in our various leagues, and generally has become more income, wider provisions, and a more secure future than many of his peers who hold advanced academic degrees, which cost them exorbitant amounts of money and are still waiting for someone to show them compassion with a job (that neither fills nor satisfies hunger!).
They roamed the fields as stars... delighting hearts and reaping money.
And Allah is behind the intent
