Our Jordan is Paradise aims to reach about 220000 beneficiaries during the year 2026

Khaberni - The "Our Jordan is Paradise" program in its new version experiences a qualitative expansion that reflects a comprehensive approach towards revitalizing domestic tourism and enhancing its role in supporting the national economy, through offering supported and diverse tourism experiences that meet the needs of various groups, and expanding the base of beneficiaries, alongside empowering local tourism projects and enhancing their presence across various destinations.

The Cabinet decided in its session held on Sunday, chaired by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, to extend the exemption from entry fees to archaeological sites for the "Our Jordan is Paradise" program, in addition to continuing to cover the costs of trips until December 31, 2026, which contributes to supporting and empowering local communities, and stimulating economic activities therein, within the framework of supporting and revitalizing the tourism sector and domestic tourism.

The program aims to revitalize domestic tourism and encourage citizens to explore the tourist destinations in the Kingdom, by offering various and affordably priced tourism experiences suitable for different groups, and targets reaching about 220,000 beneficiaries during the year 2026, focusing on increasing trips to less-visited destinations, and supporting areas most affected by the lack of visitors due to the current regional events, especially the city of Petra.

The program includes the expansion in involving local projects to exceed 400 projects, including restaurants, hotels, and tourism experiences, supporting the local economy, alongside enhancing the program with more than 60 diverse tourism routes covering various regions of the Kingdom.

The program in its new version offers the possibility of direct booking and participation using one's own car within supported tourism experiences through the program's platform, in addition to expanding the beneficiary base to include Arab and foreign university students studying in Jordan, children from the Gaza Strip residing in the Kingdom, and children of Jordanian women and their spouses.

The program is implemented in partnership with tourism offices, tourist guides, hotels, campsites, the tourism transport sector, and antique shops, contributing to the sustainability of the tourism sector's operations and enhancing its readiness amidst the current regional conditions, alongside supporting and empowering local communities and enhancing their role in this sector.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities supports the cost of its trips by up to 60 percent, providing a complete experience that includes free transport in modern buses, accompanying tourist guides, and meals, ensuring a comfortable and organized trip for participants. It also includes organizing monthly events and festivals in all provinces, featuring cultural activities, bazaars, and local products, aiming to stimulate tourism and economic activity.

The program has introduced new routes for overnight stays and day trips, covering areas like the Dead Sea, Aqaba, Iraq Al-Amir, Umm Al-Rasas, Rehab, and the Shoubak region, along with many other destinations across the different provinces, where the cost of a day trip amounts to 10 Jordanian Dinars for all provinces, and includes transportation, lunch, and an accompanying tourist guide.

The Golden Triangle program includes five main options, where the first program involves a stay of three nights and four days (one night in Petra, one night in Wadi Rum, and one night in Aqaba), with costs starting from 42 Jordanian Dinars per person, reaching up to 107 Dinars, depending on the classification of the hotels and campsites approved within the program, ranging from one star to five stars, and includes the cost of breakfast and dinner in Petra and Wadi Rum, in addition to breakfast in Aqaba.

The second program (two nights and three days) includes staying one night in Petra and one night in Wadi Rum or Aqaba, with costs starting from 27 Jordanian Dinars and reaching up to 67.5 Dinars per person, depending on the classification of the hotels and campsites approved within the program, ranging from one star to five stars, while the third program allows for an overnight stay in Petra and a visit to Aqaba the following day, with costs starting from 12 Dinars reaching up to 27.5 Dinars per person, according to the classification of the approved hotels within the program, ranging from one star to five stars.

The fourth program enables an overnight stay in Aqaba and a visit to Petra the following day, with costs starting from 15 Dinars reaching up to 40 Dinars per person, according to the classification of the approved hotels within the program, ranging from one star to five stars, while the fifth program offers an overnight stay in Wadi Rum and a visit to Aqaba the following day, with costs starting from 15 Dinars reaching up to 40 Dinars, according to the classification of the campsites approved within the program, ranging from one star to five stars.
