Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate announced that a report was received by the civil defense operations room in Karak indicating that a child and a girl, aged (9 and 25), drowned in one of the pools formed by rainwater in the Qatrana area of Karak Governorate.
Immediately, specialized teams moved to the location and retrieved them; it turned out that the child had died and his sister was injured. In turn, the ambulance crews provided the necessary first aid to the injured sister and transported her, along with clearing the deceased to the Karak Government Hospital, where the injured is currently undergoing treatment.
The Public Security Directorate urges citizens to stay away from water accumulations and ponds formed by rainwater and flowing water channels and to monitor children, refraining from allowing them to approach these areas so as to prevent the recurrence of this type of incident, God forbid.
