Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that a special investigation team from the Anti-Narcotics Directorate has been monitoring information for three months about a criminal network preparing to manufacture the deadly crystal substance within the kingdom, with all their operations in the capital, aimed at selling and promoting it.
The spokesperson confirmed that the team's efforts over the past three months, through following and monitoring the suspects and gathering all data and information about them, enabled them to confirm their criminal intent and initiate an attempt to manufacture the poisonous and deadly substance.
It was revealed at the end of the preliminary investigations that the network consisted of three individuals with prior criminal records, and three locations were identified as having been used to store highly toxic and dangerous chemicals used for manufacturing the crystal substance.
The spokesperson continued, stating that a plan was devised to raid the three locations simultaneously, where raid teams moved and stormed these sites, capturing the members of the criminal network, and quantities of the toxic chemicals used for manufacturing the crystal substance were seized; investigations with them started in preparation for referring them to the State Security Court.
The spokesperson confirmed that the investigation team took all necessary measures when beginning the manufacture of the deadly substance and before they commenced its sale and promotion.
