Triple Veto Thwarts Arab Move to Open Hormuz Strait by Military Force

Khaberni -   The New York Times revealed that Russia, China, and France firmly thwarted a wide-ranging Arab initiative aimed at providing international support for military action against Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

According to reports from diplomats and senior UN officials, Arab countries sought to reach a decision that would authorize the use of force to ensure global navigation freedom, but they faced a hurdle with the three countries that have veto power.

The official and vehement explanation of Russia, China, and France for their opposition is "a principled opposition to any formula that allows the use of force," which is internationally regarded as giving Iran the green light to continue holding the global economy hostage and paralyzing the movement of oil and goods.

This step reveals the depth of disagreement in the international community, where France sided with Russia and China and prevented the adoption of a necessary military decision against Tehran, while the United States and Israel continue their aggression against the Islamic Republic and refuse to stop the war.
