Khaberni - The European Union's Energy Commissioner told ministers from member countries, ahead of an emergency meeting today, Tuesday, that the union governments should prepare for a "long-term disruption" in energy markets due to the war in Iran.
In a message to the ministers, Commissioner Dan Jorgensen said that although the impact of the crisis on energy supplies in Europe is still under control at the moment, we encourage governments "to take the necessary preparations in a timely manner in anticipation of a long-term disruption."
