The White House Successful Secret Talks with Tehran and Trump Halts Targeting Energy Facilities as Well

Khaberni - The White House unveiled this Monday evening tangible progress in the ongoing "secret" negotiations with Tehran, indicating that the Iranian side has agreed to several essential American points, aside from the tense media statements.

White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt said in a press briefing that President Donald Trump has ordered a suspension of the planned attacks on Iranian energy facilities and power stations for ten days, giving a chance to finalize an agreement that would end the military confrontation.

Levitt clarified that what happens in closed rooms is completely different from what the Iranian regime publicly promotes, affirming that Trump is aiming to reach a comprehensive agreement within the next ten days, aligning with what he had earlier posted on the "Truth Social" platform.

Levitt also pointed out that the US administration does not require the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to end the war, considering it not a primary objective of the current military operation, while also expressing Washington's desire for Arab countries to participate in funding the costs of this war.

On the operational front, the White House confirmed that US forces have targeted over 11,000 Iranian regime-related sites since the operations began, significantly diminishing Tehran's offensive and defensive capabilities.

Levitt added that the rate of Iranian ballistic missile attacks and drone strikes has decreased by 90% compared to the beginning of the confrontation, significantly improving the negotiating position of the United States and its allies in the region before entering the final stage of political consensus.
