Khaberni - The Economic Court in Egypt has acquitted the dancer Bosy of charges of publishing indecent content, following investigations that dealt with widely circulated clips on social media.
The Economic Court, on Monday, resolved the case of the dancer Yasmin Sami, known as "Bosy", by issuing a ruling that acquitted her of charges of violating Egyptian family values and publishing indecent content on social media platforms.
Previously, the investigative authorities had decided to refer Bosy, who was released on bail, to criminal court on charges of inciting debauchery and indecency, along with publishing video clips that were considered against public morals on social media accounts.
The investigations included details of the incident when the accused was caught, with the competent authorities attributing to her the broadcasting of video clips described as indecent to public decency and widely circulated across digital platforms.
During her interrogation by the competent investigative authorities in the Mokattam area, Bosy denied owning any bank accounts or electronic wallets, affirming that she did not engage in any financial transactions of this type, as part of the proceedings of the investigation in the case.
