Khaberni - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Israel targeted two of the largest steel factories in Iran, in addition to a power station and civilian nuclear sites and other infrastructure, adding that the attacks were "coordinated with the United States".
Araghchi further stated, in comments on the X platform, that these attacks "contradict" the deadline set by US President Donald Trump for diplomatic efforts.
He warned that Iran "will impose a severe cost" for what he described as "Israeli crimes".
The Iranian media reported that joint American-Israeli airstrikes on Friday damaged two major steel factories in Iran.
According to the media, the attacks targeted "a plant belonging to the Mobarakeh Steel Group, located in the Esfahan region (central Iran), and another complex in Khuzestan province (southwest Iran)".
The Israeli military confirmed on Friday that it had targeted the Arak heavy water nuclear reactor in central Iran, on the twenty-eighth day of the war in the Middle East, following Iranian media reports of American-Israeli strikes on the site.
The Israeli military stated in a declaration that "the Israeli Air Force recently targeted the heavy water reactor in Arak, central Iran", considering it "a major site for the production of plutonium used in nuclear weapons".
The military added that it "will not allow the Iranian regime" to continue developing its nuclear program, considering this program "an existential threat to Israel and the entire world".
