The Nashama complete preparations for a friendly match against Costa Rica as part of the preparation for the 2026 World Cup

The national football team concluded its technical and physical preparations yesterday, in anticipation of the friendly match against Costa Rica at eight-thirty this evening, Friday, at Marden Stadium in Antalya, Turkey, as part of the preparations for their first historic participation in the 2026 World Cup.

The team conducted its final training on Thursday evening, at the Regnum Carya training field in Antalya, under the leadership of coach Jamal Salami, with all players in attendance.

The squad list for the gathering includes 26 players: Yazeed Abu Layla, Abdullah Al-Fakhouri, Abdel Rahman Suleiman, Abdullah Naseeb, Yazan Al-Arab, Hossam Abu Zaha, Mohamed Abu Al-Nadi, Salem Obaid, Yousef Abu Al-Jazar, Ahmad Assaf, Muhannad Abu Taha, Mohammad Abu Hashish, Mohammad Taha, Ibrahim Saada, Amer Jamous, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Nour Al-Rawabdeh, Yousef Qushi, Mohammad Al-Dawood, Mahmoud Maradi, Musa Al-Taamari, Ibrahim Sabra, Ouda Al-Fakhouri, Mohammad Abu Zureiq, Ali Azayza, and Baha Faisal.

The Nashama's camp in Turkey includes a friendly match against Nigeria at eight-thirty on Tuesday evening, March 31, on the same field.

It is noted that the Nashama team will hold its final gathering before the World Cup finals in May and June, where it will meet Switzerland on Sunday, May 31, in the city of St. Gallen, before departing to America to face Colombia on Sunday, June 7, in the city of San Diego. The team will then settle in its official camp during the World Cup in Portland, USA.

The Nashama team is preparing for its first participation in the history of the World Cup, where it is placed in Group Ten alongside the teams of Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
