Khaberni - The Disciplinary and Conduct Committee of the Jordanian Basketball Federation has decided to impose a set of sanctions on several players of the Faisaly and Ashrafieh teams, due to the incidents that accompanied their first match in the quarterfinals "second phase" of the CFI Men's Premier League 2025 season.
The incidents involve a physical altercation and assault that occurred between Faisaly player Mohamed Shaher and Ashrafieh player Mohamed Diabat, which resulted in their disqualification from the match for ineligibility. Additionally, Faisaly player Abdullah Olajuwon and Ashrafieh player Mohamed Bani Arshid were disqualified for ineligibility due to their entrance onto the field while they were on the substitutes’ bench.
Therefore, the committee has decided the following:
Firstly: Suspend Faisaly player Mohamed Shaher for one match due to disqualification for ineligibility and for actions and behavior involving misconduct issued by the player, and fine him 250 dinars for disqualification from the match due to ineligibility, and fine him 300 dinars for actions and behavior involving misconduct issued by the player.
Secondly: Suspend Ashrafieh player Mohamed Diabat for one match due to disqualification for ineligibility and for actions and behavior involving misconduct issued by the player, and fine him 250 dinars for disqualification from the match due to ineligibility and fine him 300 dinars for actions and behavior involving misconduct issued by the player.
Thirdly: Fine Faisaly player Abdullah Olajuwon 250 dinars and suspend him for one match for disqualification from the match due to ineligibility.
Fourthly: Fine Ashrafieh player Mohamed Bani Arshid 250 dinars and suspend him for one match for disqualification from the match due to ineligibility.
