Khaberni - Argentine Alejandro Garnacho, a Chelsea player, was convicted of exceeding the legal speed limit while leaving the training headquarters of his former club Manchester United, just a few days before his departure from the team.
The 21-year-old Argentine winger was driving his black "Audi RS 3" when a speed camera near the Carrington facility affiliated with Manchester United in Greater Manchester caught him.
Garnacho drove his car at 50 miles per hour in an area with a maximum limit of 40 miles per hour, on August 26, just four days before signing with Chelsea in a deal worth 40 million pounds sterling.
Through his lawyer in Liverpool Criminal Court, Garnacho admitted to speeding and offered a formal apology, explaining that he "feels embarrassed" by what happened. Consequently, Judge Jane Hines imposed a fine of 660 pounds sterling, in addition to 120 pounds sterling in litigation costs, plus an extra 264 pounds sterling compensation, and added three penalty points to his driving license, as reported by the British Broadcasting Corporation "BBC".
