Football Association sets the date for the postponed match between AlHussein and AlFaisaly

Khaberni - The Jordan Football Association has issued a schedule of dates and venues for the matches of weeks from twenty-second to twenty-fifth for the 2025/2026 season of the Jordanian Professional League.

The association has also set the dates for the postponed matches of Al-Hussein Club due to its participation in the Asian Champions League 2, where it will meet Al-Faisaly on Sunday, April 12th, and will face Al-Sarhan on Thursday, April 23rd. Meanwhile, Tuesday, May 5th has been set as the date for the match should Al-Hussein Club qualifies for the semi-finals of the continental tournament.

In addition, the association has determined the dates and venues for the postponed matches from the quarter-finals of the Jordan Cup, where Al-Salt will meet Al-Wehdat on Tuesday, April 21st, and Al-Hussein will face its counterpart Al-Jazeera on Thursday, April 30th. Meanwhile, Tuesday, April 29th has been set as the date for the match should Al-Hussein Club qualifies for the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League 2.

The dates for the last two rounds will be determined according to the teams’ results after the completion of the twenty-fifth round.

The Jordanian Professional League is held with the participation of ten clubs, in an exceptional season that witnesses the application of the Jordan Football Federation strategy to develop competitions and update championships, where the competitions are played in a three-phase split league system, and the team with the highest number of points at the end of the three phases is crowned the champion, while the last two teams on the table descend to the first division.

Al-Hussein is currently leading the team standings with 43 points, ahead of Al-Faisaly with the same points but a better goal difference, followed by Al-Wehdat with 40 points, Al-Ramtha 38, Al-Jazeera and Al-Salt 26, Al-Baqa’a 24, Shabab Al-Ordon 21, Al-Ahli 16, and Al-Sarhan last with 6 points.
